How does it work?
Paste the original and the changed text and press Compare. Removed lines start with '-', added lines with '+', and unchanged lines are indented. A changed line shows up as a removal followed by an addition. The comparison works line by line.

How do I read the result?
A line starting with '-' is in the original but not in the new text; a line starting with '+' is in the new text but not in the original.
How is the similarity calculated?
Twice the number of shared (unchanged) lines divided by the total number of lines in both texts.
