Frequently asked questions
How do I write a page range?
Separate with commas: “1-3, 5, 8-” means pages 1 to 3, page 5, and page 8 to the end. Pages are taken in the order you write them; “5, 1-3” puts page 5 first.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. Splitting happens entirely in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
Can I split password-protected PDFs?
No. Encrypted or protected PDFs aren't supported; remove the protection first.
Why are the parts together larger than the original?
Shared fonts and images are copied into every part, so many small parts can add up to more than the original.
