How does it work?

Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser; the files never leave your computer or phone.
Are the proportions kept?
With both a width and a height and “Keep the proportions” on, the image is scaled to fit inside that box without distortion. Turn it off to stretch it to exactly that size.
How much can I enlarge an image?
A side can be at most 8192 pixels and the whole image at most 50 megapixels. Enlarging does not add detail; the picture may look soft.
What happens to location and camera data (EXIF)?
Resized files carry no EXIF data (location, camera model and the like), while the photo's orientation is applied correctly. That helps your privacy before you share a picture.
