Frequently asked questions
How do you calculate 25% off?
Multiply the price by 0.25 to get the discount, then subtract it. On a $1,000 item the discount is $250 and the sale price $750.
What happens when two discounts stack?
The percentages don't add up. 20% off followed by 10% off is 28% in total, because the price is multiplied by 0.80 and then 0.90.
